I spent another 3 days at the Mahasiddha Buddhist Centre in Bondi Junction in Sydney, and I've changed my mind; I'm going to commit myself to learning all there is to learn about Kadampa Buddhism, then I'm going to ordain.
You should read this book called Phra Farang by Phra Peter Pannapadipo. It's an autobiography of a Londoner who gets fed up with life and becomes a monk in Thailand (including shaved head and difficult-to-attach-toga which kept falling off to leave him stark naked on the streets). I think Buddhism is very interesting, but don't shave off your lovely blond hair! that would be a waste! xxxx
Yes I did! Thank you, I've been looking for it today - unfortunately I'm leaving port Macquarie in a couple of hours. If possible could you drop it into the mail box for Number 47, Lincoln Road, PMQ? You can contact me on 65810711 or 0420232070. Thanks vewry much!! Em
